The Clerk of the Court’s Office has recently been made aware of a potential SCAM where individuals have been advised of the need for money to pay for a Blue Writ Capias for outstanding court costs and fines.
There are no active Blue Writ Capiases outstanding in Leon County. The Clerk’s Office will never contact you to ask for monies or payment to settle a Blue Writ Capias.
